Rapid Roll privacy policy
What information the Rapid Roll game handles, when it leaves your device, and the choices you have.
Last updated: October 30, 2026
1. About this policy
Rapid Roll is a game made by Vizlume Inc. ("Vizlume", "we", "us"), an Ontario corporation located at 945 Wilson Avenue, Unit 2, Toronto, ON M3K 1E8, Canada. This policy applies to the Rapid Roll app and its optional online features.
You can play Rapid Roll without an account and without sending us anything. The game has no advertising, no purchases, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not ask for access to your contacts, camera, microphone or location. Information leaves your device only when you choose an online feature or share a challenge file.
2. Information stored on your device
The game saves your progress on your device: records, crystals, unlocked balls and trails, achievements, daily objectives, settings, your personal best replay, friend challenges and any nickname you choose. This information stays on your device unless you use an online feature described below.
Deleting the app deletes this information. If your phone's own backup service (for example Google or Apple device backup) is turned on, it may include the game's saved data in your personal backup, under that company's terms and your settings.
3. Optional online features
Friend leagues, live matches, Quick Match and cloud backup work only after you choose to connect. When you do:
- Guest identity. We create an anonymous guest account for you through our service provider, Supabase, and store its session on your device. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- Nickname. You choose a nickname of up to 24 characters. Other players in your leagues and matches see it, so please do not use your real name.
- Gameplay. We receive your league attempts, including scores, results and the steering inputs of each run, so that results can be checked and shown. During a live match, your ball's position is shared with the other player in real time.
- Quick Match. To pair you with another player, the game sends a random search token and your nickname.
- Cloud backup. When you choose to back up, we receive your progress (records, crystals, unlocked cosmetics, achievements and daily objectives) and a recovery code generated on your device. We store only a scrambled fingerprint of the code, never the code itself, so keep the code somewhere safe to restore your backup later.
- Technical information. Supabase processes your IP address and request details to deliver these features. We keep limited diagnostics about rejected requests (the action, its status and an error category) to keep the service working and to prevent abuse.
4. Challenge files you share
When you challenge a friend, the game creates a shadow file that contains your nickname, the course, your steering inputs and your result. You choose where to send it using your phone's share sheet. These files go directly to the people you choose and are not sent to us.
5. How we use information
- To run friend leagues, live matches, Quick Match and cloud backup.
- To check that league results are genuine.
- To restore your backup when you ask us to.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To answer your questions and requests.
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, build profiles about you, or share it with others for their own purposes.
7. Where it is stored
Online information is stored and processed by Supabase, a company based in the United States. It may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of those countries.
8. How long we keep it
League, match and backup information is kept until you delete your guest account or ask us to delete it. Diagnostics about rejected requests are kept only as long as needed to run and protect the service.
9. Deleting your information
- In the game. In Friend leagues, choose to delete your guest account. This removes your hosted league and match information and your cloud backup.
- By email. Write to victor@vizlume.com and tell us your nickname and, if you have it, your recovery code.
- On your device. Uninstall the game to remove everything stored on your device.
Because guest accounts are anonymous, we may not be able to find your information if you no longer have your recovery code or the game's saved session.
10. Children
Rapid Roll is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Online features let players compete with people they do not know, using nicknames. If you believe a child under 13 has used an online feature, contact us and we will delete the information.
11. Security
Online features use encrypted connections, and each guest account can only reach its own information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities about a privacy breach when the law requires it.
12. Your rights
You can ask whether we hold personal information about you, and ask us to give you access to it, correct it or delete it. Send your request to victor@vizlume.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and residents of Quebec can also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the game's features or our practices change, post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects information we already hold, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, including in the game where possible.
